Brigham’s Preference

Let’s face it, you’re not going to please everyone when it comes to building design. What one person deems hideous, the other sees the beauty. Brigham was no different. In fact, out of the choices provided, which dwelling did Brigham young least prefer?

a.      Stone

b.      Wood frame

c.       Stuccoed Adobe

d.      Log

Yesterday’s answer:

B   20 feet wide

Referring to Salt Lake City streets when they were first laid out in 1847: The right-of-way width for streets was eight rods, including twenty-foot sidewalks on either side, making the streets 92 feet wide, including gutters.
