Paying Rent to the Government

In 1888, early Saint, David L. Davis states that the Church had to pay rent to the government on what piece of property that was owned by the Church? This was during the Federal raid in the government’s attempt to stop polygamy in Utah.

a.      The Beehive house

b.      The Lion house

c.       The Tabernacle

d.      The Temple block

Yesterday’s answer:

a.      1911

When did the first airplane land among the Saints in Utah? In 1911, this “Wright flier” made a visit to Willard, Utah. Who then could have guessed that only 50 years later aircraft would be moving missionaries to nations around the world—anywhere in just hours!
