Yesterday’s answer:

(C)   The Nauvoo Temple

On the Nauvoo Brass Band:   On February 9, 1846, the band gave its final performance in Nauvoo. At the request of Brigham Young, they met in the upper room of the temple and played a few tunes for the assembled people. Young arose and informed the members that he thought it would do no harm to have a little recreational singing, as long as it was done in righteousness. He then called on the Lord to take charge of the meeting, and the men and women danced.
