Yesterday’s answer:
a.       Washing the body with cinnamon perfumed whiskey
In the early years of the Church, the priesthood practiced an ordinance referred to as purification. Purification was one of the steps preparatory to receiving one’s endowment. Part of purification was having one’s body washed in cinnamon-perfumed whiskey and then washing one’s body in pure water and perfume.
