Melting the Mob to Tears

During the trial of Joseph and Hyrum Smith, Alexander McRae, Caleb Baldwin, Lyman Wight and Sidney Rigdon, who’s plea had many of the mob in tears?
a.                  Sidney Rigdon
b.                  Emma Smith
c.                   Lucy Smith
d.                  Alexander Doniphan
Yesterday’s answer:
c.   Two ministers
One day two ministers visited Joseph Smith, trying to corner him in scriptural matters. Unbeaten there, Joseph walked outside, drew a mark on the ground, and jumped. Then he told the ministers that they hadn’t bested him at the scriptures, so they might see if they could best him at jumping. They refused, walking away in disgust.
