Priesthood was Cancelled

At the turn of the century (1800s into the 1900s) Priesthood was cancelled during the summer months, why?
a.                  Too many members on vacation
b.                  Too many men farming
c.                   Too many men called away on missions
d.                  Too many men not showing up to their meetings
Yesterday’s answer:
a.      Evanston, Wyoming
Non-members in Evanston, Wyoming contributed $1200 on June 10, 1890 toward the construction of the first LDS chapel in that city.
