The Book of Commandments and Revelations is actually an abbreviation of the true title. How many words were in the full version of the title?
(A) Kirtland Revelation Book
Because the Book of Commandments & Revelations was taken to Missouri (in 1831 to be published), Church authorities in Kirtland purchased another ledger book in which to continue to record subsequent revelations. This second volume is traditionally known as the Kirtland Revelation Book. . . The first revelation in the book is section 76 of the current D&C.
