He Followed the Family to Salt Lake City

Why did a Plains Indian Chief follow one pioneer family all the way to Salt Lake City?
a.                  The daughter had red hair and he wanted to marry her
b.                  The father gave him a Book of Mormon and he wanted the father to baptize him
c.                   He wanted to trade for their horses, which he liked very much
d.                  The family found precious beads on the trail that belonged to the Chief and he wanted them back
