Pioneer Pranksters

Pioneer life wasn’t always easy. Basic survival was high on the list of priorities. So, when there was a chance to have fun it came as a welcomed reprieve. What did a few young men do on Halloween in the Richville, Utah area?
a.                  Tip over outhouses
b.                  Tied women’s bonnets on one farmers herd of cattle
c.                   String a wire across the road with a dummy attached making passerby think they saw a ghost
d.                  Hid in the Grist Mill, making wailing ghost sounds

From the life of Joseph Smith Sr.: In August, 1830, in company with his son Don Carlos, he took a mission to St. Lawrence county, New York, touching on his route at several of the Canadian ports, where he distributed a few copies of the Book of Mormon, visited his father, brothers and sisters residing in St. Lawrence county, bore testimony to the truth, which resulted eventually in all the family coming into the Church, excepting his brother Jesse and sister Susan.
