From the 1839 mission to England: The apostles also appreciated the skills of the English in art and crafts. Some of them had portraits painted before they left for home, and Brigham Young himself a fine craftsman, ordered a handmade watch from Henry Connor, a watchmaker and the first LDS convert in London.
