George Q. Cannon was called on a mission a few years after the Saints arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. To be honest, he was far from happy with the call and it didn’t get any better once he arrived. What mission was he called to?
a.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       To Missouri
b.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       To England
c.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The Deseret Rag mission
d.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       The Gold mission
Yesterday’s answer:
A   The Patriarch
The following from Luman Andros Shirtliff: After the Patriarch took his hands off my Head and step[p]ed back he turned to me and said Br Shirtliff how do you expect to go to your Field of Labor[?] I replied I do not know[.] I will tell you you will Baptise a Sea Captain and he will carry you to the uttermost parts of the Earth.
